Used to camp here when my boys were small. We loved it then but hadn't been back since they grew up and our lives took different directions. My mom, brother and I decided to stay in a cabin over the 4th of July and have to say I am very impressed with the new owners and the work they have put into the campgrounds. They were friendly and the sites and cabins were great. Keep up the hard work, its showing. I would say one downfall is the extra charge for the game room and putt putt.... no one wants to pay extra for something that should be included with your fees for your site or cabin. But as a whole, what a great place for a family to stay! Best of luck!

FALSE ADVERTISING!! Everything advertised was not available.so called heated pool was freezing!!Could not even use. WIFI was not working and we were not told this upon check-in. Gameroom consists of a pooltable and a few other table top games but would have cost my family of four $20 just to play a game of pool on top of the high cost of the campsite for two nights$100! OUTRAGEOUS!! Then to top it off the day we were packing up to leave my kids went to the campstore to buy candy and they saw and heard the owner Bev fighting with another employee and cussing around my kids and other guests of the park. When I brought this experience to the attention of the owner I was refused a refund and told it was the weather from a previous weeks fault.LOL. So no discount to all the paying customers who paid for advertised amentities? Also, on their website they talk about everyone enjoying riding the firetruck. There was not a firetruck to ride. This was something my son was looking forward to. We reserved this campsite based on advertised amentites and we got absolutely none of them. Tom was friendly but Bev was rude and did not care that we were not happy. Don't waste your money or time. We had to leave the campground to have fun and we had to spend alot of money outside of the campground to even do any activities. TERRIBLE

This isn't our first time at the Butler KOA and it won't be our last. The new owners are working very hard to improve the campgrounds and they are succeeding..... The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful. The grounds are looking great and they owners seem to want to do more. If you are in the area give this KOA a try....

Behind the office are 2 sets of stairs leading to what I am calling my campsite! I had a blast this Memorial weekend! The weather was down right frigid at night, but my husband, daughter, beagle and I decided to all sleep together! We had a fire going the whole time! It was the most fun I have had camping in a long time. Bev is a "Gem" and Tom has the warmest smile! The staff was amazing! The campground bathrooms were always maintained! Thank you for making our time, Fun! Fun! Fun!
